Short, sweet, and to the point

I enjoyed a lovely four-night stay filled with comfort and warmth. The spacious double room featured a stunning bathroom and the charming atmosphere was a delight. Being close to local attractions made it convenient, despite the rain. A truly peaceful experience that I would happily revisit.

The roll top bath provided a unique touch to the bathroom experience, and the size of the room allowed for a comfortable stay overall.

The room facing the parking area lacked the envisioned garden view, which was a bit disappointing, though not problematic for a short stay. The bedroom decor struck an odd note when compared to the farmhouse's traditional style, leaving some room for improvement. for those needing a shower, the absence of one may prove inconvenient, particularly for older guests or those who struggle with getting in and out of a bathtub.

the room was, clean but tired. only 2 pillows? i prefer 4, obviously. the breakfast options were embarrassingly limited, where's the full english? i almost thought about giving a good review but the staff couldn’t even be bothered to offer a simple complimentary gesture. definitely won’t be returning, such a letdown.

i had a pleasant stay at conigre. the room was clean and well-kept. the staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome. breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices and freshly brewed coffee. it’s also a convenient location, just a short walk to the centre for takeaway options.

would recommend.

The room was a decent size and provided more than enough storage. A large sofa for relaxing after a long day. Bed linens were of good quality and the breakfast offered was a solid full English, which is a big plus for starting the day right.

There were a few drawbacks worth noting—my room lacked a dressing table and chair, making getting ready a bit cumbersome. a rather unsettling incident occurred when I returned to find my room door wide open with workmen inside, leaving the room unsecured while I was out. This incident certainly dampened the experience and made me question the overall security and privacy of my stay.

Parking was convenient but could feel a bit cramped when traffic increased nearby.

Just a nice choice for a momentary visit in Melksham with all in all brilliant value for money. Had a lovely chat with the owners who were very welcoming. Ask about the breakfast options. they might have something you didn't expect.
